Operations

Solenta Aviation is the holder of a Class 2 ASL (I/N 139) for N1 and N4 air services with category A2 and A3 aircraft. Flight operations are conducted under its Part 121 and Part 135 AOC approval and are dedicated to providing client satisfaction whilst ensuring the well-being of the field by maintaining a high standard of efficiency and safety. We believe that Aviation Safety and Quality Assurance go hand in hand.

Aircrew training (conducted under our own ATO, approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority) comprises:

• Type Ratings (A) on our fleet of aircraft
• Class Ratings(A)
• Turbo-prop/jet engine conversion (A)
• Multi-engine rating (A)
• CRM
• DG

ATR42 conversions are conducted in-house and at AATC in Bangkok on Thompson simulators.  We use our own company instructors in order to keep costs down and still maintain high standards.
